Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose was born in Dalhousie, and it is a very beautiful destination in Himachal State. It has Waterfalls, Dense forest, and the Dhauladhar range. This city reminds you of the colonial past and is famous for its pleasant climate and scenic beauty.
Amritsar derives its name from Amrit Sarovar, built by Guru Ram Das in the village of Tung. It is believed that the water of the lake has healing powers. It is the largest city in Punjab. Amritsar is the centre of Sikhism and it is the holiest and biggest worship place of Sikhs – the most famous being the Harmandir Sahib, or The Golden Temple. This tour starts from Delhi, takes you through the beautiful views of Shimla and Manali, Dharamshala and then drives back to Delhi to end the journey.

How to reach:
By Air: Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) in Delhi is a feasible option for travelling to Shimla as it serves both domestic and international flights from all major cities.
By Rail: Another alternative is New Delhi Railway Station, which is one through which most trains arrive and depart from Delhi and is located in Paharganj, near Connaught Place and Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station.
By Road: One of the best options will be through buses like Volvo buses, as they are well connected to all the major cities.
DAY 1
Delhi - Shimla (343 km - 7 hours 33 mins)
Arrive at Delhi airport and start your journey to Shimla. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 2
Shimla
After a leisurely breakfast, take a full day tour of Shimla. Visit Kufri -a tiny hill station, Himalayan Aviary, Jhaku Temple - Dedicated to Lord Hanuman, Sankat Mochan Temple Which is Situated at an altitude of 1,975m. Later return back to hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 3
Shimla - Manali (247 km - 7 hours 35 mins)
After finishing your breakfast, drive to Manali. Upon arrival check in to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 4
Manali
After breakfast, visit Rohtang Pass / Snow Point - There is a beautiful Doshohar Lake left to the Rohtang pass, where pilgrims go every year on the auspicious day of 20th Bhadon. Return back to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 5
Manali
After breakfast, take a city tour of Manali visiting Hadimba Temple - Built in 1553, Jagatsuhk - About 6 kms. from Manali is the famous Shiva Temple, Vashist Hot Water Springs and Temple located across the Beas river is Vashist, a small village with natural sulphur springs. Evening shop at the Mall Road. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 6
Manali - Dharamshala (237 km - 7 hours 10 mins)
After breakfast, drive to Dharamshala and check in at the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 7
Dharamshala - Dalhousie (118 km - 3 hours 38 mins)
After breakfast, check-out from hotel and take a city tour of Dharamshala- which stands on a spur of the Dhauladhar range amidst magnificent deodar and pine forests, tea gardens and beautiful hills. It is also known as 'The Lhasa in India'. Take an excursion to MCLEOD GANJ :- The arrival of the Tibetan spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, ST.JOHN'S CHURCH - The church lies in the forest between Mcleod Ganj and Forsyth Ganj. Later continue to Dalhousie and check in at the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 8
Dalhousie
After breakfast, take a city tour of Dalhousie visiting:-PANCHPULA :Panchpula, a beautiful spot, SUBHASH BAOLI : It is a charming natural spot called Subhash Baoli. Afternoon take an excursion to Khajjar :-KHAJJAR popularly known as the mini Swiss for its snowcapped mountains and pine trees. Overnight stay at the Hotel
DAY 9
Dalhousie - Amritsar (199 km - 4 hours 24 mins)
After a delicious breakfast, drive to Amritsar. Upon arrival check in at the hotel. Later visit:-Wagah Border : It is an army outpost to protect check intrusion from Pakistan and prevents any Indian from going to Pakistan. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 10
Amritsar - Chandigarh (226 km - 4 hours 17 mins)
After breakfast, check-out from hotel and visit:-Golden Temple - Also called Sri Harmandir Sahib, the most visited tourist attraction of Amritsar. The Golden Temple was laid by Guru Ram Das in the 14th century. Also visit Jallianwala Bagh. After lunch drive to Chandigarh and check in at the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 11
Chandigarh - Delhi (245 km - 4 hours 19 mins)
After breakfast, check-out and enjoy city tour of Chandigarh visiting Rock Garden, Rose garden which contains more than 17,000 plants. There are nearly 1,600 varieties of roses over there. Also visit Lake. Afternoon drive back to Delhi for your onward journey with fond memories of trip. Tour Ends...(All distances and timings are approx.)
