Haridwar is a gateway to the four major Dhams (The Char Dham) – Kedarnath , Badrinath , Gangotri, and Yamunotri.
Rishikesh is a town in the Dehradun district of Uttarakhand. Rishikesh is a holy town with many famous ashrams. Rishikesh is also famous for adventure activities like river rafting and bungee jumping. In the evening, enjoy ganga aarti at Triveni Ghat.

How to reach:
By Air: Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) in Delhi is a feasible option for travelling to this place ,as it serves both domestic and international flights from all major cities.
By Rail: Another alternative is New Delhi Railway Station, which is one through which most trains arrive and depart from Delhi and is located in Paharganj, near Connaught Place and Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station.
By Road: One of the best options will be through buses like Volvo buses, as they are well connected to all the major cities.
DAY 1
Delhi - Agra (233 km - 3 hours 44 mins)
Upon arrival at Delhi drive to drive to Agra and transfer to the hotel. Later visit Emperor Akbar the Great commissioned the Agra Fort that is also sometimes called Red Fort of Agra. During the reign of emperor Jahangir, the capital was briefly shifted to Lahore but Agra became the seat of Mughal capital one again in the reign of Akbar. Akbar became emperor in 1556 and when he consolidated himself sufficiently, he started the construction of Agra Fort in the year 1665. The fort was completed in the year 1671.Agra Fort is among the finest examples of the fusion architecture that has dominated the Mogul period. The assimilation of these different styles has given the buildings within the fort a distinctive look. To name a few, for example, the Jahangir Palace built by Akbar is the most magnificent blend of Persian and local style whereas Divan-e-Aam mixes subtleness of Turkish exteriors with the complex pattern of Persian architecture. DAY 2
Agra - Haridwar (401 km - 6 hours 15 mins)
Enjoy Magnificent Sunrise at Taj Mahal - Seventh wonder of the world. Taj Mahal of India - "the epitome of love", "a monument of immeasurable beauty". The beauty of this magnificent monument is such that it is beyond the scope of words. The thoughts that come into the mind while watching the Taj Mahal of Agra is not just its phenomenal beauty, but the immense love which was the reason behind its construction. Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan got this monument constructed in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, with whom he fell in love at the first sight. The very first sight of the Taj Mahal, the epitome of love and romance leaves one mesmerized. Later return back to hotel and take breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, check-out from hotel and drive to Haridwar. Upon arrival transfer to the hotel. Evening visit Har Ki Pauri Ghat witnesses hundreds taking a dip in water of Ganga here. The place is so famous and considered so auspicious Ghat no one wants to miss in it on his trip to Haridwar, infact no pilgrim leaves Haridwar without paying a visit the Ghat. Literally meaning, the Har means Lord Vishnu and Paudi means steps. The Place has a large footprint of Lord Vishnu here and hence it came to be known as Har Ki Paudi. Return back to Hotel. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 3
Haridwar
After breakfast enjoy city tour of Rishikesh :- It is also called as the “Gateway to the Garhawl Himalayas”. The town is a famous tourist spot and also a major pilgrimage spot for the Hindus. The River Ganges flows through town of Rishikesh and famous for its various shrines and yoga ashrams. Rishikesh also is among the few places in India that offers a multitude of adventure sports to the visitors. Laxman Jhula:- Built in 1939, Laxman or Lakshamana Jhula is a suspension bridge in Rishikesh With a length of 450 feet and at height of around 70 feet from river. According to Hindu mythology, this bridge is built in the same place, where Lakshamana once crossed river Ganges on a jute rope, thus making this another important pilgrim attraction. Later return back to Haridwar & visit:- CHANDI DEVI - Haridwar-The Chandi Devi Temple, situated atop the Neel Parvat, gives a panoramic view of the entire Haridwar town. The temple was built in the year 1929 by the then king of Kashmir Suchat Singh. According to a legend, Adi Shankaracharya established the main statue here during the eighth century AD. You can either trek the 3-km path to get to the temple from Chandi Ghat or take the ropeway that starts from the nearby Gauri Shankar Temple. BHARAT MATA TEMPLE - Haridwar-The Bharat Mata Temple is a massive eight-store structure consecrated in 1983. Each floor of the temple houses statues of different mythological and historical legends, religious deities, leaders and heroes who played important role in the formation of the modern India. The temple was founded by Swami Satyamitranand Giri. The first floor of the temple has the statue of Bharat Mata or Mother India with a map of India on a raised platform. Likewise, other floors also contain renowned figures of Indian history and mythology while fifth floor serves as the assembly hall. MAYA DEVI TEMPLE - Haridwar-The Maya Devi Temple holds great religious importance for the follower of Hindu religion. It is said that a vital part of Goddess Sati had fallen at this place during the process of divine dismemberment. The temple is also regarded as one of the Siddhapethas dedicated to the Adhisthatri Devi of Haridwar. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 4
Haridwar - Delhi (242 km - 4 hours 7 mins)
After breakfast, check-out from hotel and drive to Delhi. Upon arrival transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 5
Delhi
After breakfast, check-out from hotel and drive to take a combined tour of Old Delhi and New Delhi. The Older part of Capital takes you to the Red Fort with its Pearl Mosque and exquisite audience halls, Jama Masjid Mosque, with its marble domes and slender minarets; Raj Ghat (where Mahatma Gandhi cremated). The Modern area takes you on a drive along Rajpath, New Delhi's broadest avenue, and see The House of Parliament, the diplomatic enclave and the President's House - The Royale Residency of the former viceroys and now the President of India. Visit the India Gate and The Qutub Minar built in the 12th century. Later drive to Delhi airport to board the flight for onwards the journey with fond memories of trip. Tour Ends...
